WHat is LACA?

Los Angeles Christian Academy is an educational ministry of Los Angeles Baptist Church. It is an integral part and cannot be separated from Los Angeles Baptist Church. We believe attendance at Los Angeles Christian Academy is a privilege, not a right.

The school was established in April 2014. It started out with few numbers of student. Today, it has grown! Los Angeles Christian Academy offers elementary education, junion-high education, and high school education.

Most of the curriculum we use in Los Angeles Christian Academy is the Abeka curriculum. Abeka is a curriculum that has been proved to give quality education while keeping a Christ-centered theme.

Los Angeles Christian Academy is registered to the California Department of Education with the School Code: 6146831

OUR CURRICULUM

Abeka (known as A Beka Book until 2017) is a publisher affiliated with Pensacola Christian College (PCC) that produces K-12 curriculum materials that are used by Christian schools and homeschooling families around the world.

With Abeka, you can count on high academics AND a biblical worldview so your students aren’t left half prepared to make a difference in the world.Every subject is approached from a Christian perspective, and you’ll find Scripture and biblical principles used to emphasize or illustrate concepts.

Millions of Christian school students have used Abeka since it started in 1972, and over 1 million used it in 2017 alone. Students taught with Abeka have been accepted into prestigious colleges and gone on to serve the Lord in demanding careers.

Our High School is using the Abeka Master Video Program where they are taught through video by accredited teachers. Students who take advantage of the Accredited Enrollment will have their education with Abeka Academy accredited by the following organizations: Florida Association of Christian Colleges and Schools & Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools Commissions on Elementary and Secondary Schools.
